Course Description

OccuSafe Network’s ladder safety awareness training module provides general requirements for ladder selection, care, and safe use. Typical types of ladders covered in this module include- stepladders, single and extension ladders, articulated ladders, and job-made ladders.

This Ladder Safety Awareness Online training module will enable each employee authorized to use a ladder to recognize hazards related to ladder use and to incorporate proper procedures to reduce or remove these hazards. Ladders are common in most workplaces or job sites and are one of the leading causes of workplace incidents. Training provides workers a way to do their job safely and is an investment that will pay back repeatedly in fewer injuries and illnesses, better morale, lower insurance premiums, and more.
